For a long time in my life I have not known what an entrepreneur was. If you asked me as a kid how businesses were created or who even runs a business, I would not be able to answer any further than a boss. I truly believe that one of the greatest failures of my education was not learning about finance and the economic world. Personally as a computer science student, I felt as though I was taught how to be a worker rather than an innovator. I learned how to do xyz but not how to change the world with xyz. That was until I visited the center for entrepreneurship. There I learned that there was more to life than just getting a 9 to 5 job. With guidance, I saw entrepreneurs who are innovating and making a difference where it matters. That eventually led to me becoming one and creating a company centered around my goals. Growing that company into what it is today has been very difficult and there are many more lessons for me to learn. But as I grow with my business, there have been several ethical questions that have come to mind that I have not had time to investigate. The final presentation has provided me with the opportunity to conduct research and explore the ethical issues that revolve around innovative entrepreneurs like myself. I am truly excited to finally look into this venture and explore what other people have thought when faced with these issues.
